Welllll, sort of. 9 out of 10 times the bass is plugged into an Avalon U5 which is an instrument DI/preamp. Our bass player for this week brought his amp, and we’re direct out of it. One of our other bass players has a box that is a tube DI of sorts so we use that. Regardless of what the box is, there is always some sort of contraption on stage that an XLR plugs into for the bass.
And as for the link, we church audio guys need to stick together.
