This Is It
This week I leave for Atlanta. Next weekend will be my first Sunday on staff at North Point. I’m excited, but also a bit nervous about the whole thing since I’ve never lived outside of the Chicago area before. It will be an adventure one way or the other. I’m trying to get down in time to check out 7:22 on Tuesday night. For two years Bob Nahrstadt has been trying to get me to experience 7:22 in person instead of just on the web. 7:22 is aimed at singles, but the audio side of it is supposed to be something special as in church sound “3+” louder.
Once I get down there I’m hoping to start up a series of posts on mixing; it’ll basically be what is working for me these days and hopefully all my fellow engineers reading this will chime in with some of their own practices.
